Occupational Health Nurses are expected to maintain the right of the workers to a balanced and healthy ecology in accord with the rhythm and harmony of nature; promote and protect the environment to attain sustainable development against the COVID-19 virus; recognize the primary responsibility, together with the local government units and agencies, to deal with environmental problems; and to provide and maintain a clean and healthy workplace environment for the good of all and, therefore, should be a concern of all, especially in this pandemic.

Occupational Health Nurses (OHNs) have unique roles in the workplace. OHNs, not only spearheads the implementation of COVID—19 workplace preventive measures but also, in helping all qualified workers.
